BUILDING UNITY IN OUR COMMUNITY Join us for a community meeting on Tuesday, October 22nd from 6:30 - 8:00 PM in the Smithfield High School Auditorium for a presentation from the Anti-Defamation League’s A World of Difference® Institute.

Forecasted temperatures during early Saturday morning hours will not reach low enough or for a duration long enough to eliminate the EEE and WNV threat from mosquitoes. Avoid outdoor activity at dusk, wear insect repellent and cover exposed skin to prevent a mosquito bite.

McCabe and OCRS have been accepted into the “Recess Rocks in RI” training program! The goal of the program is to engage all students in active play during recess. Each school will receive training, on-site support and a recess equipment pack valued at approximately $500.

Smithfield High School, in conjunction with the Smithfield Prevention Coalition, hosted a Change Direction presentation encouraging students to pay attention to their emotional well-being. Students were introduced to the 5 signs of emotional pain. #changementalhealth
